In this clip, you'll learn how to reinstall an accidentally-deleted system application like TextEdit, Preview, iCal, Address Book or QuickTime without reinstalling OS X. With a little know-how, it's easy. So easy, in fact, that this video guide can offer a complete overview of the process in a matter of a few minutes. For more information, including a complete demonstration and detailed, step. I’m a.Mac member and use Apple’s Backup to backup my hard drive so I think I can get my contacts back (at least my Address Book contacts, I don’t know about Entourage), but I’m not sure. The address book with 'Apple Inc.' Is probably the OS X address book, for which TB has read-only access. It appears in TB if you select File/Use Mac OS X Address Book. Address Book App For Mac Os X
I recently got a Motorola Droid, and have synced my contacts from Address Book with Google, in order for the Droid to get them, which it did. I have also got these contacts on my iPhone 3G S. Now, I deleted some contacts off my Droid, recovered some but some are missing... They have been removed from my Address Book too! I have read about a file that you recover called Addressbook.aba but I cannot find this. My lost contacts are on my iPhone, but when I sync it does not bring them up in Address Book changes.
Any help would really be appreciated.
Yours sincerely
Ari
